Abstract: The labour reforms made in our country in the last years have introduced some changes in the procedures of extinction of working contracts by reason of force majeure. Along this work we analyze the process of termination of the working relations by reason of force majeure: the initiation of the process, the scope of the resolution of the labour authorities or the alternatives to follow if the force majeure had not been found. It is important to emphasize that, in contrast with what happens with other challenge figures, like the collective dismissal, the administrative approval has been kept, but it only can determine the existence of force majeure claimed by the company, which has to take the decision to...
